BYOK stands for "Bring Your Own Keys." Instead of us buying Twilio/SendGrid credits in bulk and marking them up (like every other platform does), you connect your own provider account directly. You pay Twilio $0.0079 per SMS instead of a platform charging you $0.03-0.05. Same message, same delivery, 75-85% less cost.
A contact is a unique person in your database with a phone number and/or email. If the same person is on 5 different lists, they still count as 1 contact. We don't double-count.
Not to DualBlaster. You pay us a flat monthly fee based on contacts stored. You pay your provider (Twilio, SendGrid, AWS SES) for actual message delivery at their wholesale rates. We never markup your messages.
A sender identity is a phone number (for SMS) or email address (for email) that you send from. On the Starter plan, you get 1 phone number and 1 email address. Growth gives you 3 of each, Pro gives you 10, and Agency is unlimited. Most businesses start with 1 of each and upgrade as they add more brands or departments.
Sub-accounts are isolated workspaces within your Agency plan. Each sub-account has its own contacts, campaigns, credentials, opt-out lists, and reporting. Perfect for marketing agencies managing multiple brands — keep client data completely separate while billing rolls up to your parent account. The Agency plan includes 3 sub-accounts, with additional sub-accounts available at $39/mo each.
We'll notify you when you're approaching your limit. You can upgrade anytime. We won't cut off your campaigns mid-send — we'll just ask you to upgrade before your next billing cycle.
